To construct a 12-sided regular polygon, draw a circle with two perpendicular diameters in it. Trisect all four of the 90° angles formed. Where the arcs (shown here as being circles) cross the outside circle, put a point. Where the perpendicular lines cross the outer circle, put points. Connect the points in sequence to get a regular 12-gon.
